Kinder Camp

(Child must be 5 by 12/31/07)

For children who have just completed kindergarten and are not ready for a full day program. Children completing grade 1 are not eligible and should sign up for the Playground program. Activities include games, arts & crafts, and a trip to the Great Escape. Supervision is at a 10:1 child to staff ratio. Meets rain or shine. Limit registration to one session/child. Beginning April 29, you may sign up for another session on a space available basis.

Summer Playground Program

(Children who have completed grades K-5)

Child must have completed kindergarten! Includes sports, games, arts & crafts, special events, field trips and swimming! Meets rain or shine. Supervision is 10:1child to staff ratio.

Secret Agent Lab: CSI

(Children who have completed grades 1-5)

Discover how chemistry and science can come assist a secret agent. Identify and collect evidence from fingerprints to tracks to trash. Campers will connect the dots and help sniff out the suspects in this investigation of the science of sleuthing.

Music and Arts Camp

(Children Entering Grades 3-9 in the Fall)

Program will include class offerings in the areas of music, arts, dance and drama. Camp runs for four weeks June 23-July 17, and meets Monday-Friday (does not meet on Friday 7/4 & 7/18) from 8:30-11:30 a.m. at Gideon Welles. Fee is $159/child. TO DOWNLOAD THE BROCHURE, CLICK HERE.

 

Camp Sunrise

(Special Needs Children ages 3-21)

Special registration procedures are required - you may not register using this brochure. A special needs camp that provides opportunities for achievement in a supportive environment. June 23-August 8 (Seven 1 week sessions), Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. at the Smith Middle School.  Applications available at the Parks and Recreation office. Registration deadline is Friday, May 2nd. $60/week fee includes transportation to and from camp, juice and all field trip admissions.
