Welcome to the Glastonbury Parks and
Recreation Department’s Official Web Page! We have tried to make
things as simple as possible for you. Please use the drop down
menus at the top of the page to navigate our website. Additional
links can be found at the bottom and right hand sides of each
page.
We encourage you to take some time
to peruse through our site as it contains valuable information
on things such as program offerings, facilities and important
forms you may need. While this website is one way to find out
information about program offerings and about the Parks and
Recreation Department, there are several other ways as well:
Program Brochure
Brochures are mailed directly to ALL Glastonbury
residents via bulk mail 3 times per year. Each brochure contains information
on programs being offered, activity codes and fees. Additionally, parks and
recreation facilities are listed. Brochures are mailed as follows:
Fall: Mid-August
Winter/Spring: Early December
Summer: Early March
Brochures are also available for pick up
beginning the Friday prior to registration at the Community Center, Town
Hall, Welles Turner Library and our office. Program information is also
available online beginning the Tuesday prior to each registration at
www.glasct.org
RecTrac
The Glastonbury Parks and Recreation Online
Registration system is a quick, easy and secure way to register for
programs. Online registration generally beings at 8:00 a.m. on the scheduled
day of each registration. You can also use the system to update family or
household information, check availability of spaces in programs and reprint
receipts.
Automated Phone System
By calling (860)652-7679, you can use our automated phone system to get
quick answers to commonly asked questions, 24 hour cancellation and program
information, and a daily schedule of activities. During regular business
hours, you can also speak to a staff member by pressing 5.
