Academy Field
Route 2 East to Exit 8 (Hebron
Avenue). At end of exit take a right onto Hebron Avenue. Follow
Hebron Avenue to intersection with Main Street. At stop sign
take a left onto Main Street. Go about ½ mile down Main Street
and take a right into the Town Hall at 2155 Main Street (just
past First Church). Drive to the end of the parking lot to
Academy Field.
Route 2 West take Exit 8 (Hebron
Avenue). At end of exit take a right and an immediate left at
the light onto Hebron Avenue. Then follow above directions
(except you would be on Hebron Avenue about 1 mile).
Addison Park
Route 2 East to Exit 6. At end of
exit take a left onto Griswold Street. Stay on Griswold Street
for a couple of miles. After a sharp curve, take a left at the
stop sign. Continue on through two more stop signs. Take an
immediate left into Addison Park.
Route 2 West to Exit 8 (Hebron
Avenue). Take a right at the light at the end of the exit ramp.
Take an immediate right at the next light onto Hebron Avenue. Go
to the second stop light on Hebron Avenue and take a left onto
Eastern Boulevard. Stay on Eastern Boulevard until you come to
the four-way intersection with Addison Road. Take a left at the
stop and continue on until your next stop sign. At that stop
sign take a right. Go through the next stop sign and immediately
after the stop sign take a left into Addison Park.
Blackledge Falls
Route 2 East to Exit 8 Hebron
Avenue. Take a left an end of exit onto Hebron Avenue and go
about 10 miles. Black Ledge Falls will be on your left (if you
see the Hebron Town Line sign, you have gone too far).
Route 2 West to Exit 10. Take a
right at end of exit ramp onto Manchester Road. Follow
Manchester Road (about 3-4 miles) to the intersection with
Hebron Avenue. Take a right at that stop light and go about 6
miles or so on Hebron Avenue. Black Ledge Falls will be on your
left (if you see the Hebron Town Line sign, you have gone too
far).
Buckingham Park
Route 2 East to Exit 8 Hebron
Avenue. Take a left an end of exit onto Hebron Avenue and go
about 4 miles. Take a left at intersection with Manchester Road
and the park will be on your left (just past the fire station).
Route 2 West to Exit 10. Take a
right at end of exit ramp onto Manchester Road. Follow
Manchester Road (about 3-4 miles) to the intersection with
Hebron Avenue. Go straight at the stop light/intersection with
Hebron Avenue and the park will be on your left (just past the
fire station)
Butler Field
Route 2 East to Exit 10. At end of
exit ramp take a left onto Manchester Road. Stay on Manchester
Road for 1 to 1 ½ miles. Take a right onto Forest Road. Stay on
Forest Road for 1 mile or so and park will be on your left.
Route 2 West to Exit 10. Take a
right at the end of the exit ramp onto Manchester Road and
follow the above directions.
Cotton Hollow Preserve
Route 2 East to Exit 7. Route 2
splits here and Exit 7 is a left hand exit. You will then be on
Route 17. Stay on Route 17 until the light at the intersection
with Hopewell Road. Take a left onto Hopewell Road. Follow
Hopewell Road for a couple of miles and Cotton Hollow will be on
your right.
Route 2 West to Exit 10. Take a
left onto Manchester Road. Go to stop sign and take a right onto
New London Turnpike. At the next light take a left onto Chestnut
Hill Road. Follow Chestnut Hill Road until the next stop sign
and take a left onto Hopewell Road. Stay on Hopewell Road for a
few miles. Go through you first stop sign. At the next stop
sign, bear right. Cotton Hollow will be on your left next to
Grange Pool.
Eastbury Pond
Route 2 East to Exit 10. At end of
exit ramp take a left onto Manchester Road. Stay on Manchester
Road for 1 to 1 ½ miles. Take a right onto Fisher Hill Road.
Eastbury Pond is just down the hill on your left.
Route 2 West to Exit 10. Take a
right at the end of the exit ramp onto Manchester Road and
follow the above directions.
Ferry Landing
Route 2 East to Exit 7. Route 2
splits here and Exit 5 is a left hand exit. You will then be on
Route 17. Stay on Route 17/Main Street until the light at the
intersection with Tryon Street. Take a right onto Tryon Street.
Stay on Tryon Street for a couple of miles and take a right onto
Ferry Lane. Ferry Landing is at the end of the road.
Route 2 West to Exit 10. Take a
left onto Manchester Road. Go to stop sign and take a right onto
New London Turnpike. At the next light take a left onto Chestnut
Hill Road. Follow Chestnut Hill Road until the intersection with
Main Street. At that light take a left onto Main Street/Route
17. Stay on Route 17/Main Street until the light at the
intersection with Tryon Street. Take a right onto Tryon Street.
Stay on Tryon Street for a couple of miles and take a right onto
Ferry Lane. Ferry Landing is at the end of the road.
Glastonbury High School
Route 2 East to Exit 7. Route 2
splits here and Exit 7 is a left hand exit. Just after splitting
to the left take the first left exit. At stop light go straight
onto New London Turnpike (you will be passing Monaco Ford on
your left). Continue straight. Before the next light, take a
right on Hubbard Street. The Glastonbury High School will be on
your left.
Route 2 West to Exit 8. At end of
exit ramp take a left onto Oak Street. Go through one light. At
the next light, take a left onto New London Turnpike. Continue
straight. Before the next light, take a right on Hubbard Street.
The Glastonbury High School will be on your left.
Grange Pool
Route 2 East to Exit 7. Route 2
splits here and Exit 7 is a left hand exit. You will then be on
Route 17. Stay on Route 17 until the light at the intersection
with Hopewell Road. Take a left onto Hopewell Road. Follow
Hopewell Road for a couple of miles and the Grange Pool will be
on your right.
Route 2 West to Exit 10. Take a
left onto Manchester Road. Go to stop sign and take a right onto
New London Turnpike. At the next light take a left onto Chestnut
Hill Road. Follow Chestnut Hill Road until the next stop sign
and take a left onto Hopewell Road. Stay on Hopewell Road for a

High Street Park
Route 2 East to Exit 7. Route 2
splits here and Exit 5 is a left hand exit. You will then be on
Route 17. Stay on Route 17/Main Street until the light at the
intersection with High Street and Hopewell Rd. Take a right onto
High Street. High Street Park is on your right.
Route 2 West to Exit 10. Take a
left onto Manchester Road. Go to stop sign and take a right onto
New London Turnpike. At the next light take a left onto Chestnut
Hill Road. Follow Chestnut Hill Road until the intersection with
Main Street. At that light take a left onto Main Street/Route
17. Stay on Route 17/Main Street until the light at the
intersection with High Street and Hopewell Rd. Take a right onto
High Street. High Street Park is on your right.
Hubbard Green
Route 2 East to Exit 7. Route 2
splits here and Exit 7 is a left hand exit. Just after splitting
to the left take the first left exit. At stop light go straight
onto New London Turnpike (you will be passing Monaco Ford on
your left). Continue straight. Before the next light, take a
right on Hubbard Street. At the stop sign, go straight. The
Hubbard Green will be on your right.
Route 2 West to Exit 8. At end of
exit ramp take a left onto Oak Street. Go through one light. At
the next light, take a left onto New London Turnpike. Continue
straight. Before the next light, take a right on Hubbard Street.
At the stop sign, go straight. The Hubbard Green will be on your
right.
Minnechaug Golf Course
Route 2 East to Exit 8 Hebron
Avenue. Take a left an end of exit onto Hebron Avenue and go
about 4 miles. Take a left at intersection with Manchester Road
and follow Manchester Road for about 2 miles. The golf course
will be on your left.
Route 2 West to Exit 10. Take a
right at end of exit ramp onto Manchester Road. Follow
Manchester Road about 5-6 miles and the golf course will be on
your left.
Parks & Recreation Office
Route 2 East to Exit 7. Route 2
splits here and Exit 7 is a left hand exit. Just after splitting
to the left take the first left exit. At stop light go straight
onto New London Turnpike (you will be passing Monaco Ford on
your left). Continue straight through the next stop light. Take
your first right after the light (sign says GHS Athletic Fields,
Parks and Recreation). Take your first left into the parking lot
following the signs. Our office is behind the high school track
and football field at the top of the hill.
Route 2 West to Exit 8. At end of

the next light, take a left onto New London Turnpike. Continue

first right after the light (sign says GHS Athletic Fields,
Parks and Recreation). Take your first left into the parking lot

and football field at the top of the hill.
Riverfront Park
Route 2 East to Exit 8. Take a
right at the end of the exit ramp onto Hebron Avenue. Follow
Hebron Avenue to the intersection with Main Street. Take a right
onto Main Street. At next light take a left onto Welles Street.
Riverfront Park is down Welles Street on your left.
From Route 2 West take Exit 8. At
end of exit take a right and an immediate left at the light onto
Hebron Avenue. Then follow the above directions.
Ross Field
Route 2 East to Exit 8. At end of
exit ramp take a right onto Hebron Avenue. Continue on Hebron
Avenue to Main Street. At intersection take a left onto Main
Street. Go about ½ mile or so and take a left onto Williams
Street West (just past the Police Station). Go down Williams
Street West and at the first stop sign, take a left onto Canione
Road and drive towards the field/parking lot.
Route 2 West to Exit 8. At the
light at the end of exit ramp take a right and at the next light
take a left onto Hebron Avenue and follow the above directions.
Rotary Field
Route 2 East to Exit 7. Route 2
splits here and Exit 7 is a left hand exit. Just after splitting
to the left take the first left exit. At stop light go straight
onto New London Turnpike (you will be passing Monaco Ford on
your left). Continue straight through the next stop light. About
½ mile later take a right onto Olde Stage Road. At first stop
sign on Olde Stage Road take a left into Rotary Field.
Route 2 West to Exit 10. At end of
exit ramp take a left onto Manchester Road. Go to the stop sign
and take a right onto New London Turnpike. Follow New London
Turnpike for a few miles and take a left onto Olde Stage Road.
Go to stop sign and turn left into Rotary Field.
Smith Middle School
Route 2 East to Exit 6. At end of
exit take a left onto Griswold Street. Stay on Griswold Street
for a couple of miles. After a sharp curve you come to a stop
sign. Take a left at the stop sign. Continue on to the next stop
sign. Take a right onto Addison Road. Follow Addison Road to the
four-way intersection and Smith School will be on your left.
Route 2 West to Exit 8. Take a
right at the light at the end of the exit ramp. Then take an
immediate right at the next light onto Hebron Avenue. Go to the
second stop light on Hebron Avenue and take a left onto Eastern
Boulevard. Stay on Eastern Boulevard until you come to the
four-way intersection with Addison Road. Smith School will be
directly in front of you.
Welles Park
Route 2 East to Exit 6. Take a
left at the light onto Griswold Street. Go under the overpass
and the field is the first left after the overpass.
Route 2 West to Exit 8. At light
at end of exit take a right and then an immediate left at the
light. Go about ½ mile or so and take a left onto House Street.
Follow House Street until it ends at a stop light. At light take
a left and then a left into Welles Park just after that.
Williams Park
Route 2 East to Exit 9. Take a
left at the end of the exit ramp. Go about 1 ½ miles and the
park will be on your left.
Route 2 West to Exit 10. At the
end of the exit ramp take a right onto Manchester Road. Follow
Manchester Road for about 2 miles until a stop sign at the
intersection of Manchester Road and Neipsic Road. Take a left
onto Neipsic Road (Neipsic Road will come to a stop, take a left
to continue on Neipsic Road). Continue on Neipsic Road for
approximately 1 ½ - 2 miles and the park will be on your right. |
